Due to its low weight, the Slim Robot is extremely mobile. Transportable with an ordinary car and powered by batteries, it can reach places that were previously unknown to motion control: Outdoors in nature, on the 4th floor without an elevator - no problem.

Previsualized by Frederic Gomoll, we produced exactly what the clinet was looking for.

Slim Robot in numbers
Stands for a collaborative robot. Thanks to its sensors, a human can guide and train it. The arm also stops when it detects obstacles. Let us work together!
The arm itself impresses with its low weight of 33.5 kg. This makes the system mobile. Transported by a conventional car, carried to the 4th floor or outside in rough terrain - simply mobile.
Despite its low weight, the arm is capable of carrying camera systems weighing up to 12.5 kg. Setups like: Alexa MiniLF, 35mm anamorphic lens, focus and iris motor (10.5kg) no problem.
The arm can extend 1300mm from the base. A maximum push in travel of 2360mm is possible (with 50mm focal length and full frame sensor and without taking the own base into the picture).
Up to three motors can be controlled via the software, allowing focus, zoom and aperture to be controlled precisely and automatically. Running and stopping the camera can also be time-controlled.
With a power consumption of maximum 615W, the arm can be operated with a portable battery. An entire day's shooting has been tested with a single Instagrid battery.
The arm is equipped with a Mitchell mount. It can therefore be connected to standard dolly systems. Hanging overhead mounting is also possible.
The system can process various input and output signals. 24V pulses, closed circuits via relays or DMX signals can be used for time coordination with the SFX or the lighting department.
